The Insect Sciences Museum of California is calling upon local scientists, naturalists and photographers to collaborative in"Insects of the San Francisco Bay Area" (ISFBA), an entomology outreach and publication effort. Through ISFBA Bay Area residents will be trained to observe, recognize, collect, mount and photograph insects. Collaborators will post results onto a social networking website, the Exploring California Insects website, an online photo album, GoogleMaps, field guides and regionally specific learning aids.
